Oregon ridge

I had heard that the Baltimore county park Oregon Ridge was open to metal detecting with a permit so I checked it out yesterday and was told that thanks to some people who could not follow the rules have ruined it for everybody else and that detecting is no longer allowed , it's a shame because this is a nice park with a lot of history.
