Owners of TreasureNet should start selling metal detectors and accessories.

I was thinking it would be a good idea if the owners of TreasureNet
started selling New and used metal detectors and related accessories.
on the TreasureNet site.

I think this is something that the members of TreasureNet would be interested in.
I have been with this site since 2005, well 2003 before I became a member
in 05.

I would just like to get the thoughts of the owners and members, on this idea.

Clayton, A good idea..... except.... could they remain objective? That is to say, will they offer the best or would they be required to "push" their brand above whatever is considered the best. There are quite a few vendors on board. I have bought from these vendors. I think the current setup is ok. TTC

From what I recall the owners here know websites, but squat about detectors, so it would make very little sense to get in the business of moving physical products. To make any real money at selling detectors you have to do it full time and I'm not so sure it would be worth it. If it was just one person who owned the T-net and it was all he did, then I think it would be a great idea, but I don't think that's how it is.
