Painting need help with signature, please

I found this painting at a Thrift store, I and trying to figure out the name, it looks to read Stan, but found no artist under that name.. I've tried several other like Ston, Sten, but nothing under those.. It could be an amature artist.. And thoughts on the signature? Thanks in advance

Wow.. The signature is not exact but very very similar. I did email him with pictures to see if it his work. Thank you so much. Keeping my fingers crossed. 😀

Well the artist J. Stoa emailed me back and unfortunately he is not the artist.. I will keep on searching but Thank You for trying to help... You came closer than me.

I came across him the other day. I didn't post because it didn't look like a match. I didn't find any of his paintings in that style, and he always signed with his first initial as well as last name "J. Stoa".
