Paper? Yeah, I got paper!

After a 20-box weekend at my hometown that netted 29 40% kens, 1 90% ken and 1 ben, I returned back to Madison. I had half of last week's orders to pick up since I left for up north for my brother's wedding before they arrived. 10 boxes total netted a whopping TWO (2) 40% kens. Luckily a teller at one of the banks saved me this 1934 $20 bill. I don't know if it is worth anything...and yeah I know, it's paper...but it certainly was a no-brainer to buy it.

The $20 bill is really cool, but it is so eat up it is worth maybe a $21 or $22. If it were me I would just throw it back because I can't have $20 tied up.

Nice find im jealous all i have is a couple of bills from the eighties. I only keep them because theyre the oldest bills i ever come across.

Nice snag! I've got a 1934B $20 bill; like Coppercrazy said, it's not worth much over face (maybe $5-10 if you are lucky) but I'm holding on to mine because I think they're pretty cool!

Every time I come across an older bill (at this point anything pre-1990 is "old") I put it aside. I started doing that when I was in high school with bills from the 1950's and 60's. I now have close to $100 in $1's, $2's, $5's, $10's and maybe a $20 or two. Most are in decent shape and a few are crisp. Don't know if any of them are worth anything, but like you I keep them because I think they are neat.

Nice find! It's not worth much, but I would keep it. I keep one bill from each series and throw the rest back unless they are worth anything over face.
