Park finds & first Silver coin
Thanks go out to Uncle Tom for pointing me in the direction of this park. I have hit the park for about 6 hours over two days. My first find was this woman's compact. The bottom reads Evening in Paris, New York Distributor. The compact was closed when I found it and was really hoping something would be stashed inside, of course nothing was. The mirror in the comact was cracked and when I cleaned it out, the mirror just fell apart.
Today I found my first Silver, a 1949 D Rosie, also 2 wheat's, a '37 and a '40. 1.80 in clad, a square nail (another first) and while digging a target I eyeballed this rock which I believe is either a broken piece of an Arrowhead or some sort of cutting tool. This park is fun, Ill be heading there again next week.
