Cool I used to collect these in central New York a long time ago . Similar to yours and of Silurian age but the preservation was much better.

Yes mb, I've a 'few' stacked and boxed, in porches, under beds..all over the place! heh heh!....ck, yes I'll dig out a few more for pics, but will take a little while...more snow to clear first!

Thanks Gp, yes I've seen that genre of smaller 'remipes' eurypterid in New York (mostly in a type of sandy color/limestone or dolomite?)...these larger, rarer 'carcinoma' eurypterids are in a black 'flagstone' (type of slate) matrix...not found there in NY (as far as I know).
