Paul is dead. Apparently... Paul McCartney is at the centre of one of the greatest conspiracy theories in music history. Believers think the real McCartney died in a car crash in 1966 and was replaced by a double names William Shears Campbell (Or Billy Shears). Let's examine the 'clues' from the Abbey Road album cover, songs played in reverse and even ears changing shape!

My good friend Gavin spent several weeks working with him at Abbey Road studios in 2005, doing the string arrangements for Ecce Cor Meum (an album of classical versions of McCartney's songs); and then conducting full orchestra live performances with him at the Albert Hall in London (I got invited) and Carnegie Hall in New York.

If that wasn't the real Paul McCartney, then the imitation goes way beyond being a 'lookalike'.
