Hello TH'ers !!

I came across this site from a different type of discussion which involved the TV show Ancient Aliens. Now to the point: Does anyone know, ever heard of, read or watched a video of an ancient PAVED road off the Florida coast in the Atlantic Ocean? If it actually exists, (there is a supposed video of it on the www somewhere), it could have been covered up as a result of a flood.

I am searching for information/video on the one off of Florida's southern coast. It has been a few weeks since I read the information that led me to this site, but it mentioned the road was paved with a substance like our modern day asphalt. The road is supposedly ancient and is still intact on the oceans floor. Some try to link it to the Atlantis story/time-frame.

There is supposed to be a video of it on the internet somewhere. I am unable to find it.:BangHead:

If anyone has any information about the buried road, I would appreciate any information you may be able to share with me on it.:occasion14:

Thanks !

The Bimini Road?

Lake, that's the only one I can think of too

87300E, You better buy a newer TV, the one you have seems to be airing shows that are way over 10 years old :laughing7:

The Bimini Road is real, but it has nothing to do with aliens.

the bimini road is linked more to atlantis than aliens

The consensus among conventional geologists and archaeologists is that the Bimini Road is a natural feature composed of beachrock that orthogonal and other joints have broken up into rectangular, subrectangular, polygonal, and irregular blocks. The geologists and anthropologists who have personally studied the Bimini Road include Eugene Shinn[SUP][6][/SUP][SUP][22][/SUP] of the U.S. Geological Survey; Marshall McKusick.[SUP][5][/SUP][SUP][23][/SUP] an Associate Professor of Anthropology at University of Iowa; W. Harrison[SUP][24][/SUP] of Environmental Research Associates, Virginia, Beach Virginia; Mahlon M. Ball and J. A. Gifford[SUP][4][/SUP][SUP][25][/SUP] of the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, University of Miami; and Eric Davaud[SUP][10][/SUP] and A. Strasser[SUP][11][/SUP] of the Department of Geology and Paleontology, University of Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland. After either inspecting or studying the Bimini Road, they all concluded that it consists of naturally jointed beachrock. John A. Gifford, a professional geologist, spent a significant time studying the geology of the Bimini Islands for his University of Miami Master's thesis[SUP][26][/SUP] about the geology of the Bimini Islands. Calvert and others[SUP][8][/SUP] identified the samples that they dated from the Bimini Wall as being natural beachrock.

If the Bimini road intrigues you.... check out the yonaguni monument off of Japan.

I saw the video on tv a while back. It looks like a road made of Belgian blocks, only larger blocks. It appears to follow along like a road, that is keeps it's width fairly constant and is fairly straight. it didn't say how long it was or it's actual termination. That formation off of Japan looked interesting too. You could visalize a shape like an Inca perimid structure and other structures. The bulk of the moisture on Earth today is in the air, but it could hold a lot more moisture. My theory is that way back at one time there was more moisture in the air and the seas were much lower. Maybe before the " hand print-2_edited-3.webpNoah shift", lol

Nola Ken, OH NO, say it isn't so!! It HAS to be aliens or extraterrestrials!! :icon_thumright:

Hahaha.... We were just talking about aliens and all that here a couple days ago. I guess everyone needs to believe in something. I just believe in the most likely explanations for things. I may have to try to channel Casey though and see if I can get some treasure leads :tongue3:

I told him to not speak to you. he's my treasure spirit guide. :laughing9:

between me and the aliens of course. And if I could get them to give me some of their technology to build a super detector even better! :tongue3:

Hi Eddie (And everyone!)

I did some research on the Bimini-Road, and wrote it up in a Squidoo lens. We must have seen the same show! Anyway, here's what I found: Bimini Road

Thanks!
