Found this unusual button on a 1850's homestead site this morning. The front depicts the Pennsylvania State Seal. Instead of a loop on the back, it has two soft wires attached maybe for pinning through a collar or tie. I have since cleaned the back a little and it appears to say "Superior Quality". Could use some help on identifying it.

Thanks for the comments. After searching the web and seeing some others it looks like this could be a CW era Pennsylvania State Militia side hat button. I believe there would be two of these buttons which would fasten the chin strap to the hat using the two wire prongs. (pics attached for example)
