65 degrees today in Missouri and beautiful digging! Was able to get a short hunt in at an old homesite lot in a small town near here......started digging pottery and stoneware shards,my standard horseshoe find, a tiny cork bottle and then......out popped the eagle.....

Nice Find Gypsy, I'm jealous of your weather, it's snowing like crazy here in Ohio, supposed to
get around a foot of snow and then turn to crap, freezing rain. Wanna trade some of your good

Does that Eagle have a hole in the bottom of it. Might have been a cane topper or a sword topper.

Don't ask about Michigan weather.. esp. since the new DD coil and M6 'spare' are now in da howsse, adding to the foot-tapping.

I was going to ask about the 'reverse' of the eagle, too. Was thinking flagpole-topper (for a carry-able flag / guidon / corner-of-the-schoolroom-type).

It's a great item. What range did it 'ring' in?
