Pic for expert dowsers practice

Think what I marked on photo #1 is in the cave and photo #2 the ground only next to red circle. I've never seen sunlight on lens make that color of orange... your pic it's neon more like 3D. Being located in Mexico, makes the site even more interesting. Noticed that church or mission was built 1715, same year 1715 Plate Fleet wrecked off Florida coast. Quote from one of the legends.

This brief legend takes place in a tiny town south of Monterrey called Gil de Leyva, now a suburb of a larger town called Montemorelos. The former Misión de la Purificación which had been founded in 1715, was serving as a church for the small town just a few decades later.

What is this? Can't be a transparent emerald, not that large.

I did not notice

Thought might be sunlight way it comes down... but how to explain it inside a dark area? Looks almost like right edge of the opening by red circle.

Head carvings were often used by ancient cultures, at the entrance to burial caves, tombs. Look top left of forehead, is that a spike driven into the stone?

Hi everyone! I finally found the cheese... it was buried at the end of the cave, but is not what you are thinking.... it was a meteorite. Yes! The cave was formed by the impact of a meteorite.

can we see some photos and what was done to authenticate it? and also what leads you to believe the cave was formed by it? I just don't see how this was formed by an impact.

I don't even remember all this... kind of funny to read it now.

I belong to 3 dowsing treasure hunting Spanish speaking groups on FB. Since this thread I've seen a lot of carvings on rocks and caves in Mexico and South America. Real Spanish carving can be quite detailed and smooth. Natural caves often were used by indigenous tribes, you can find all kinds of stuff in them.

PS-I do remember seeing a post a few days ago, of a large meteorite find (one of the groups) on Feb 22. Reminds me of the meteorite Don Martin (first Minelab distributor in Brazil) found weighed about 100 lbs. or slightly over.

It is located in a private land near Monterrey, Mexico 2 hrs south of Laredo
So, we are talking about Mexico here. Only place on planet where metal detecting does not exist without a pendulum.
