I was walking back from CookOut with my root beer float, and stopped to pick up any change I found as usual. I look at one of the pennies as I pick it up... That's not a wheatback?... It's a wreath! So on the road was a run over 1897 Indian Cent! It's in such bad shape I might just cry and have to give it a funeral. Also, two months ago I found this Wheat on the ground in front of my apartment door. 1914! :icon_thumleft: But.... How did these both end up on the ground outside my apartment??

Maybe with the bad economy during the past 3 years people are emptying their coin jars, etc for spending money and it is only natural that some of the older coins coming back into circulation will be dropped just like the newer coins. Just a theory!

I remember, and I continue to read about the "wonderous Apartment Dumpsters" and the things throw in them as the tenants come and go....

Maybe, they were on their way to one and those fell out.... :)

I'll bet it's not dark yet.....going to go look? :icon_sunny:

Well I didn't wade around in it, but there were some tv's- all busted screens, sadly probably from being thrown in. :(
