Congrats - haven't your banks heard the latest coin shortage excuses?

There isn't a shortage of halves because we CRHers keep recycling the same coins over and over, more and more with sharpie marks on them

Exactly. A "coin shortage" seems to be a convenient excuse. I'd prefer they just answer honestly - even if that is "we don't want to order coins for you".

Yeah my pick up bank said they couldn't get them this week because of a coin shortage. Hopefully next week they'll have some.

Almost through the second box ($140 left) and one 1964 with very nice toning so not skunk

Good luck. My banks have been using the coin shortage excuse for over two months.

If it's a coin shortage then why are the NEW boxes of the 2020 just now showing up. The shortage is most likely being caused by the coin processing VENDORS, who are most likely short staffed due to the virus, or not wanting to go back to work and get more $$$ from the govt just to sit home.

Ben, congrats on killing your skunk streak. It's a good feeling to see at least ONE SILVER coin every now &'then.
