ok guys and girls,this is the pics of the 1961 error coin I promised.The pics could be better, I know. I hope you all can see it well enough to tell me what you think.

IMO it looks like someone tried cutting it with a pair of metal shears or something.

Hmmm, it seems odd tho, if someone tried cutting them with shears it seems as tho where the lines intersect at the point there would be a overlap or one line would go further then the other. it seems as at the point where the lines come together its almost curved. Like it was stamped or something. Oh well unless someone else on here knows anything,I might never know. Thanks digger.

i say absolutely post mint damage, not an error. Don't know what they used or why, but someone did something to the nickel anbd damaged it.
