Depending how I am feeling after work in the morning I may head to this house and check the spots. If everything goes as planned I will have a new 2 box detector in a couple weeks and then as soon as ground thaws I will be out checking the other sites you all checked for me. Thank you for the help

Can you guys possibly check this photo. The land is owned by a friend of mine. The previous owner told him that he lost a large gold ring with a large diamond in it while mowing several years ago and never found it. Anyway can you see if you can locate it? Thank you in advance.

No gold

A 2-box sure would help eliminate all the small stuff. If none of the shallow dowsed hits check out for cache, then possibly map dowse for deeper signals. It might be interesting also, if you could try just walking across the length and width of the property, holding a pair of bent hangers or rods.

How am I to tell which ones that people have marked are supposed to be deep or shallow? No one has said what depth they are locating them at. I go over the marked sites with my regular detector and if nothing hits that is what I am getting the 2 box for.

Okie these are pics from the property of the area you pointed out. Was flooded with water so couldn't get in there to check.

earth.... The area you located is a dump site. Full of concrete slabs, bricks, and a ton of old fence and stove pipe.

All the ones I've marked so far, should be 2 ft or less deep. The deep hit of mine hasn't been marked yet. The same spot was also marked by weregold on pic #1. I can mark for you the location, got 2 ft or deeper on the spot. Deeper signals not always a cache either.

Oh, check around old trees with the 2-box or enything else that might have been there.

The top red rectangle is the deeper signal I'd mentioned. Since then found another. Smaller stuff can end up deep when the ground is excavated. Again your 2-box detector should eliminate coin sized objects.

junior967, You said the article told you that in his last days he was VERY Paranoid and moved out of the main house into a small cabin. The cabin was surrounded by a 10' Log Stockade Wall.
If I was pursuing this cache, I would NOT Look for GOLD or Silver of ANY sort. This is due to Sam "Lobo" Wolfe's directions in the 70's.
I would be looking for The Cabin Surrounded by a 10' Stockade Wall.
My reasoning is that him being that Paranoid Psychotic he wouldn't be able to let his treasure out of his sight. He would have to have the Wall so that anyone coming close to the cabin would have to let Him let them in. The Cache/Treasure is inside the stockade and probably Below the Chimney foundation or the Hearth.

Gold and Silver won't be a viable search target due to the Lost Jewelry and Lost Silverware from that time period, OR any lost items up to present day.
Carl Von Muller covered this in his Treasure Hunting Manuals 6, and 7. The reason no one has found this cache is, OH Wait How do you KNOW this treasure hasn't been found and what everyone is picking up is the residual target from where it was till it was found!!

Has Anyone even Asked if the Cache is Still Available of recovery?

Then have YOU asked if You can Have this Cache?

Lobo said that he was so successful because he asked If God had anything that He could Have and Recover.
If the answer was Yes then he proceeded to Recover what God had Given Him.

@ Lost Adams.... I am using the ability of the gentlemen to map dowse as a step in my process. I research for location. With the location usually being a large plot of land I ask for dowsing of it to narrow down search areas. I then go in with my detector and 2 box and search the areas that have been marked. To answer your question "The reason no one has found this cache is, OH Wait How do you KNOW this treasure hasn't been found and what everyone is picking up is the residual target from where it was till it was found!!" I don't know if it has been found or not until I go look. If you pass on places because it "could" have already been found then you will never find anything. With the only thing being lost is time and energy I have no problem looking for targets that may or may not have been found.

You keep referring to authors of manuals and books as to how they do dowsing as if it is the only way to do things because they say so. It is my understanding that every individual is unique in how they respond to questions asked when dowsing. Some people are "stronger or weaker" in their abilities. What works for one person may not work for another. So who is to say that things that work for Sam "Lobo" Wolfe and Carl Von Mueller will work for others?

Lastly, the remarks about the wall and cabin, I already know where they were located. I was seeing if the locations that were marked by the dowsers is in the area of the cabin without being given that info. I never post all info in my requests, but will not hold back info if something specific is asked about the location or it's history.

I am also wondering why you did not give any results to my pictures that were posted?

UPDATE...... New 2 box detector will be delivered Tuesday. So weather permitting will be in fields checking these locations shortly. Will post results as I finish each area. Thank you to those that took the time to dowse these locations for me.

I agree with some of this but are you saying all search areas aren't viable if there has been human activity? He sounds like he's done more research than some that have recovered some good goodies.

My way of thinking is I came to this spot with empty pockets. If I leave with empty pockets no problem! All I've lost is time. All and all I had a fun day in the sun. And I learned something!!!!
