Pictures of artifacts please

I am starting this thread in the hopes that the members of this forum will flood it with pictures of all the various artifacts they have found and or collected over time. I figured this thread could provide novice hunters and collectors with a vast wealth from which to learn from and compare to.

I thank you all for helping further my education as well as others.

Here is a 9 inch length spade, when I found it in an old sale years ago it had been wired to hang. This and the other item in the sale, there were only two, were covered with a thick layer of dust. I washed it off, let it dry and then took this photo.

Not familiar with this type. I am considering a purchase. It looks like it is historic and authentic. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1574566611.860675.webp

It’s a pipe made of a steatite. Looks like it’s in the image of the ball club the Iroquois used.

Cool. I was thinking it was an early hip replacement effigy!

I am going to be selling part of my artifact collection soon.

Before I put it on good ol' ebay, I wanted to see if anyone else would want them.

I think its a good choice to put them on Ebay maybe you might get an offer besides you cant sell them here unless you are a Charter member last time I checked

I am a charter member, but I wasn't planning on making a sale here. I thought I'd ask if anyone liked em' first.

Sorry about that I liked your avatar so much it must of strayed my eye sight from the charter member.

No problem, since ya put it that way, lol! I don't get offended by anything, but I do like to keep my honor intact... :)

Here is my latest purchase: Dalton, made from Horse Creek chert, found in Randolph County Arkansas. It only cost me $30, and part of that was Taxes and shipping.

Natives that fished a lot for main food source, would utilize available stone that already had a start to a hole, and just took advantage, and finished the net attachment hole....not pretty but worked anyhow....!
Great finds!

Thank you for your input Eye. It’s nice that some people notice the small stuff and take time to reply. :)

I want to say thanks again for the overwhelming feedback and input. The people that make up this community are first class all the way.

C'mon guys, really?

I am currently going through a rough financial time with my family. I know how it feels. Just have some empathy.
