Dug this afternoon. Not terribly stunning but thought I’d post. Engraving says nichols USA. Kusan inc. Nashville tenn. #276. Researched and found that model was made 50s 60s. Can’t figure out what part of that cap gun it went to.

It is the part you opened to put the roll of caps in. The roll of caps went on the post. Stay safe, good luck and keep swingin.
