We got out for about 4 hrs and had a great day at our hidden spot ,when we arrived there was a big old red tail hawk sitting on a rock looking at us, I asked but he wouldn't stick around for a pic 8-) then we found 4 more foundation holes that we didn't know about, can not wait to explore them !! Before I even turned on the detector I spotted the butt of the pistol sticking out of the dirt looking at me with a big smile :laughing7: I did a little looking online and think it might be a Smith and Wesson model 2 army from the 1880s ??? any help would be much appreciated . The brother found the token and even though he found it , I danced around with him good thing this spot is remote ! Then I found a pretty 1909 barber dime. All in all a great day and a great hunt !

And the building it came from is probably still standing. I just looked at the corner of 3rd and Bennett on Google maps, and there are old buildings from the 1890s on two of the corners. The other two are very old as well. You could probably find out which one Glauber's was in by looking into the history of each individual building, since they are most likely part of Cripple Creek's Historic District.

Pueblo, The building still stands and is part of the BrassAss Casino , I have pics of it and have an original 3" x 5" celluloid negative that shows the Glaubers sign . Thanks for the banner vote but I didn't find it .

Allot of nice digs..From the looks of it you have a whole lot more work to do there:metaldetector:

Congrats on some great relic finds. I like those marbles.

Killer hunt, I missed this when you first posted it. The only guns I find are metal toy guns with the exception of a rusted shotgun once. Nice barber and token as well!

What a pile of goodies you found and plenty more still there waiting for you to uncover it! Good luck on your return!

Metal headz , I've dug two pistol barrels, a complete pistol, and a rifle barrel ,,,,,,,, and it only took 30+ years 8-)

Thanks Scruggs, it will have to wait until spring
