For a long time we had this little stein in the bottom of a box. I finally worked my way down to it and it's not a pin. The post on the back is threaded. We've never seen that before. For something so small, it seems really well made. It's heavier than tin but I wouldn't guess its material. Inside is it has the incredibly unhelpful, PAT APP FOR.

Down the front it simply says YES.

A variety of online searches came up with nothing.

Come to think of it, I'm wondering if it's a way to promote the end of prohibition. "Yes to alcohol" maybe?

Search "screw back lapel pin".

It is a common type of fastener.

Not a beer stein but still anti-prohibition. Has a screw back fastener:

I'll consider this one solved. I've got this as

$30. Anti-Prohibition Screw back Lapel Pin YES Beer Stein.

Thanks everyone! :D
