If that first symbol is a Phi it could be a Phi Kappa Alpha fraternity symbol? I'm not up on my Greek letters. Monty

It's Greek to me, too! Actually, the letters are Pi Kappa Alpha, and as Monty wisely surmised— Excellent!— it's a college fraternity pin. Here's a link to more info:
