That is a great question. I would think it would have an effect on pinpoint depth but maybe John can fill you in. I don't use pinpoint much but I'll try next time out to see.

Depth ofcourse goes without saying. But what about those shallow target -4 in. all that power ( I have been using 2-3 notches under max.) would it decrease accuracy??
