2 Wheat Pennies
What appears to be the barrel from a single shot boot or pocket pistol.

Insignia on the side (crown) leads me to believe it is English. It is small but heavy, made of brass.

It's Belgian made, nice little pocket pistol, Civil War era or thereabouts. It's upside down in the pic by the way

I did wonder about the Belgian origin as I was able to find similar models on the internet "from Belgium" but not exact duplicates.

And thanks for correcting the orientation. I see it now that you mention it.

Liege Belgium had a lot of gun makers, and they exported countless guns to the US. They will pretty much all have the ELG and star in an oval if they are black powder guns
