I go to the #1 post in the thread and on the medium beige line that contains the OP's date and time stamp, over on the right hand side, just this side of the "#1," there is a maroon button that reads "Nominate Banner." Click that and a dialogue box will appear, list your thoughts on why it should be on the banner…

That's one great looking bottle and very worthy of being up there on the top. Congrats on the find and the extra bread for the new toys and spoil fund.

It's a fabulous Pitkin ink! What makes it different is a combination of things, but primarily that it has vertical ribs. Pitkin inks always have swirls, but this has swirls and ribs. Plus it's a large size and the swirls are very fine. Various New England bottle factories blew Pitkin-type flasks and inks, but as Jason points out, this was found very close to the Pitkin factory and might have been their product!
