Boy-o-Boy More stuff from Larsons cellar. Always nice to look at.What type of flint is the grey colored stuff.Thanx for shareing

it is called 'tongue river silicified sediment' or TRSS
better known as chert or gray chert
as you can see it was used quite a bit
BTW, did you see the oxbowpoint(I think) on the top row first image and the 3 single notch points in the second image???

No I didn't at first.(I was too busy ooglin those triangles)Is the Oxbow the one with a bi-fricated base?
Single notched how cool is that.

it is the one on the top row made of krf and about the 3rd from center to the right

the historical society uses the term 'duncan-hanna' quite often

Too cool, Larson. I was fortunate to grow up around some old guys who used to pick up arrowheads by the bucketsful and later went on to form the Oklahoma Anthropological Society. They had collections like you wouldn't believe.
