"Plantation House...built in the 1840's" 2 1/2 hr hunt"

Great weather! Great location! Made for some really nice finds! Ibbasser and myself hunted for 2 1/2 hours and found a total of 18 coins....1916, 1918, 1925, & 4 wheaties in the 1940's and 50's. Ibbasser got lucky with the two merc dimes dated 1938, and 1942.....and a possible boot SPUR??, My most interesting find was DINKY VINTAGE PLANE G-AVKW (pretty good condition). Something i find interesting is the long span of dates between the coins we found!! "HAPPY HUNTING" until next time....Ibfinding something!! see ya! Hope the pictures turn out ok!

Here is a little info on your cool little toy. Looks like it maybe missing some pontoons? Cool find though.

63b Mercury Seaplane: Cast body with two floats 70 X 102mm 2 1/2' long with a 4" wing span and made from 1946-53 G-AVKW registration on wings. Nice complete example in great condition for the age.

What are the chances that the pontoons for the plane are still there? A little JB-Weld an WaLa maybe worth 1/2. Nice hunt anyway. D.D.
