Re: PLEASE don't blame the gun
Generally I am very appreciative of any life in any form, from plants - insects, - animals and lastly humans. I being a bit silly, if I find a lessor form of life with problems, I simply help it out, such as if I find a scorpion in my room I show him his new home in the garden. I only kill them or destroy plants with regret because of necessity.
However with aggressve humans, it is a bit different since they can reason and realize that what they are doing is wrong
Under proper stimulous, such as some one shooting at you, or your family, you will shoot back, unless you are socially bound to the point of being suicidal .
Twice I have had no problems in shooting back with bad intentions for them, successfully I might add. The main problem for the law abiding citizen is to shoot first under a life threatening situation, here we fall down because we do respect human life, While the baddie, who isn't concerned about your life or moral law, shoots first..
Most gun battles, today as in the old west, are won by who shoots first, then by who shoots most accurately.. Forget the movies and TV !
