Please help I D this odd bottle .

I found this old bottle at an old homesite in S. C. I only have this picture of it. It is about 6” tall, round bottom is about 2” in diameter, flip open glass stopper, with the wire running through a hole in the stopper. No markings at all on this bottle. There is not a flat spot on the bottom of the bottle. Thanks !

Don't know what it is But it looks like a nice find .At least you are getting out there and looking

I sent all the info on this bottle to a well known collector & he does not have any idea what it is.
Does anyone else have any suggestions ?
