Found these digging through an old barn yesterday. they appear to be made of leather. Anyone have any clue what they are?

Does the one on the right wined up, and if so what happens then?

It doesn't wind up and the screw is removable it's just a screw with a loop on it...

What about buttons for a couch or furniture , and the wind up looking one for a cover to tie onto the top of the furniture

My guess... A saddle "horn cap" or "head"... mounts on the horn neck of a leather saddle.
Or shift knob for exotic car of some sort.
