I found this rock in the desert in Antelope Valley, CA by the town of Little Rock. Can you identify it for me. It has crystals in it. & I see some gold spots shimmering but am unable to get it opened. I think it might be quarts crystal but not sure. 15819850788253356047813967697357.webp15819851109745510624769420644985.webp1581985156567275833812135589602.webp

Good find. Are those crystals inside?

Silicate that looks like a low end type of opal not what you would call fire to it. It most likely be classified as a concreation which is inorganic matter forms around something and crystals form in side over time or the object is preserved inside it kinda like fossils do.
