Gotta go on OLD road next to GOOSE CREEK; read somewhere that it was "blocked off" & something was buried in the "dry spot", then covered with a HUGE white Quartz or Feld-spar stone. Creek water was then released to cover HUGE white Quartz/Feld-spar stone. I NEVER looked for it... BUT!

Just a tale as they say. No provenance found, though I do love if people found one, or verified some given.

I found a QUESTIONABLE solution using the Columbus First Voyage that may be just a product of my imagination, there are data mentioned that I have verified after a year of research but still, we lack evidence. For me finding a sign that the place was altered, or any equipment's left such as ropes, shovel or spoons, I would think that it was really that area. Though better ask Bedford for permission to investigate.

walking around Abbott Lake (where the Marsh Meadow was), playing on SHARP TOP; GROOVY FUN in the SUN!

I can only imagine watching sunset or sunrise there. I want to see that Appalachian trail too.
 

Wife & I have been on the AT from the BRP, in SEVERAL counties; nice hike, BEAUTIFUL views!
