Looks like ya had a FUN day ,Congrats :icon_thumright:

Nice spoon is it solid silver or plated?

Blaze

your spoon is coin silver, if the name is N. Harding & Co. , it came from Haverhill MA 1851 - 1862

Awesome Finds!
Sweet Silver spoon from up this way, I dug 3 plated spoons (all different designs)
from a 3 foot circle a few days back, spoon spills happen :laughing7:
Do I see a colonial buckle, or is that a barrette :icon_scratch:
great post and photos!

thanks for the pic, doesn't look like barrette back, anyone else ? :dontknow:
Kids playing with spoons is a great thought, so many mysteries...
Hope your 'new pence' is a 1983, I found this: " A small number of 1983 "New Pence" coins exist. These coins are rather rare, and are considered collectors' items."
Best digs to you!

Thanks ,, its a 1976 new pence,,yes that buckle or whatever is a mystery???? Have a good one steelhead,m,,and swing ahead

I always got my eyes open for rarities, in feb/march 1982 US cents began being made from zinc, but there are some 1983 coppers out there, mint error, $$$
I cull all the copper cents from my change, they are worth over 2C scrap.
I check my 83s , just hold a post 82 in the other hand, you can feel the difference in weight. HH

A spoon spill... :laughing7: Never had one of those.

Nice digs. I hunted all weekend too. I only managed a 1945 Merc, 1919 Wheat and a TON of trash. :(
