Got out for a few minutes this afternoon between some showers and braved the cold winds. Temp was about 40 and the wind was howling! The girlfriend dropped me off on the back side of the park so I could walk and detect my way back to the house as I wanted to hit an area where I pulled a 1895 V nickle at the other day. After about 45 minutes of slim pickings and mostly clad pennies I decided to cut across an area that I have'nt hunted much in the past. I noticed an odd looking small ridge running the length of a large hill and figuired it to be a good place to cross. Swinging my way along I hit a very unusual signal.....my explorer was saying kind of indianhead penny on the smart scrren but the tone was very odd? I decided since I had'nt done alot of digging and the signal was odd I would pop a plug and see what the cause of this signal was. After cutting the plug I flipped it over and notice right away a shiny silver! Bingo a sweet 1905 barber dime woohoo! I start to replace the plug but began to wonder why this silver was ringing in so odd???? I figuired I better resweep the hole to make sure. Instantly get the funky signal once again... A little work with my pinpointer produces a 1904 V nickle.... wow! so I cover the hole and just for giggles resweep again and still that darn signal! so back I go with the pinpointer....out comes a 1899 indianhead then I decided to keep the pinpointer in action and out comes the second barber this ones a 1898, then another V nickle 1897, then a 1904 Indianhead surfaces! Most oldies out of one hole I ever dug! hope you enjoy....P.S. notice how the reverse on the V nickles show where the other coins laid on top

Jack my friend! Awesome find. Glad to see that the SE is working for you. Thanks for showing us that you can find great finds no matter where you move as long as you use the right equipment!

Nice little cache, congrats! HH, Mike
