Point found! Dry spell broken. Guess on type?

Found amongst flakes in a clear cut I have found points in before. Upstate SC. Definitely different than other points I have found in this region, but a nice edge all the way around and an unfortunate broken tip. Any guess as to type or age?

I agree with Tdog. Guilford variant. It may have been a drill before the tip got knocked off. JMO.

western NC has a lot of those. Im 25 miles from sc line. Probably guilford.
