It looks like a hand blown copy to me. I have one similar in a different color. I hope for you its not :) I hope yours is genuine. I hope your ad on Fleabay for this item sells. Good luck!
 

ok you did see it been trying to find it there jedi and I'm wondering at some point if somebody didn't happen to put through a very mild tumbling or spun with copper bb's or something smooth but has rough pitting too at the same time
 

No offense meant , but I believe it is modern hand blown in Mexico .

it looks newer to me. With a the hot shops springing up all over any one with a minimal level of skill cud have made it. but I'm beating China .
 

I bought mine off of Fleabay for $12 and thought I scored years ago, only to find out it was most likely made in Mexico :/ not open pontiled pre 1865 :/

interesting from what I can see it looks to me more like a pumpkin seed flask like? but I like the color and thanks for posting!
