Possible Clovis??

Just found this broke earlier this afternoon. It is pretty small to be a Clovis..only 3/4" x 1-1/4". appears to be fluted, super thin and the base is ground.

jpitt - that's obviously a very well made piece and a good find. If I were to guess (which I'm about to do) I'd guess that it's not a Paleo piece. If it is Paleo I'd say late Paleo and Lance related with some basal thining. Really though I'd guess, knowing none of the associated finds, sites details, etc, that it's a relatively recent piece, Woodland, maybe late Woodland, but again I'm not qualified to make an assessment like this. Great piece though. I've said many times I'd rather find a very well made partial than a 100% whole point with average workmanship.
