Possible MS Mercury Find Today **PIC**

I have found nearly 200 Mercuries but this one takes the prize. The details of obverse and reverse are very good - a little bit worn on "States" of reverse.

Its hard for me to tell on my cell phone screen but it looks like their fully split bands. I hope im right because the fully struck bands are cash.

Certainly a lot nicer than the average mercs one finds these days, but it isn't MS. IMHO it is a nice VF. The hair braid shows signs of wear as do the feathers. On the reverse both the horizontal and diagonal bands show a fair amount of wear.

Nice, but not close to MS. For reference, this one is MS-66.

Agreed on the VF condition-probably VF-35 or so based on the wear. Still a very nice find.
