Went to get my first mammogram yesterday.... during exam 2 places were found so could not get mammogram I will have to go somewhere else for a more diagnostic type .....

Thank you all ! They are trying to get me on sooner care I have no insurance my jobs have me at 15 hours a week so I don't quailify for insurance.

Thanks guys all of you ! I think I am more afraid that if it is cancer I won't be able to get treatment I lost a friend to cancer because he didn't have $ for treatment, they would not help and he just went home to die .... scary

I just saw this Mental Granny. I'm really sorry to hear this, but I can stand here today and tell you that if it is breast cancer - it can be beat! In the past year I've been through chemo and just finished radiation and doing ok....I'm bald ...but I've survived - Thank God. My heart goes out to you and I know the worry, but be strong and keep your faith Granny....it's the best medicine anyone can prescribe. You're in Gods hands and in my daily prayers.

Thanks MM I am now waiting on a case worker from Sooner Care to contact me I was told can take up to 45 days..... so I will not worry an am just praying an waiting .... please keep up the prayers !

Well 2 weeks ago got into Dr. another exam an today went for mamogram an ultra sound...... then another Dr. came in and did more ultra sound..... she is going to contact sooner care to see if they will let me have a MRI or in 6 months re apply for sooner care an get another mamogram to se if things have changed ?

Got my letter yesterday I am approved for MRI so now hopefully this week they will give the date an location for it. I have a friend that works in the MRI here an she said they dont do them for that area of the body. I will probably have to go over to Tulsa.
