Thanks all. Forgot to tell you....the urologist says there's a tiny hole in her ureter that is leaking fluid. This is in the area of the where the stones tore through the ureter, but appears to be on the backside. While it is of concern, he is going to wait until mid May and do another CT Scan w/o contrast at that time to see what has happened to that hole. There is a possibility that it will heal on its own, just like the other side did. However, the other side healed because he had inserted a stent to bypass the fluids to the bladder. He doesn't think that this has any relation to her inability to use her leg muscles. So, at this point we will see how things go until mid-May. In the meantime....we are hoping that she will be strong enuf for me to take her the first week of May to the Outer Bank, NC for a week of well-deserved vacation for both of us. Well....for me....I plan to get in some MDng in the legal spots. Her family will also be going, so it will give me a chance to relax a tad.
Of course....May is still quite a ways off. She starts physical therapy this Thursday, even though I have been making her do leg exercises. I know....I'm such a meanie....LOL Actually, I saw it on ER and General Hospital..................................JUST KIDDING! lol Well, I sure didn't see it on OPRAH or ELLEN....LOL
