Thanks to everybody for your positive thoughts and your prayers.....especially you, Wesley, for your daily doses of inspiration.

I feel strong. I feel happy. Even though they hurt, my kids are adjusting. You all mean so much to me.

Lisa,

Just wish we could do more without interfering.
Have grown fond of you.

A difficult time but...

Lisa, divorce is always a difficult time and you certainly expressed your feelings with dignity and grace. It is a true testiment to a really sweetheart. I wish you and your family the very best. You are entering a new chapter in your life. I know it will be for the better. Hugs. :icon_sunny:

My prayers are with you & your family. Been there.......done that. It's a tough time, but just lean on your friends, that will help. Stay strong it will be ok in time.

My prayers are with you, and your family. Right now my baby daughter is going through the same. She has two kids that is takeing it hard. Just hang in there, and keep your chin up.

Have been in your shoes at the same time in life and fully understand every nuance of the situation. As you can see, you have a ton of friends that have their hands and hearts in support for you and your family. Do not be afraid to ask for help.

Unfortunately ive been down this road.
Thoughts and prayers sent to your entire family.
Look for a better future and drop the past.

Lisa, I was searching through topics I never visit and found this post..I thought someone was ill in your family so I wanted to see what was up..sorry it took so long to find it. In the time I've known you, I never had any idea that anything was wrong, so I'm sorry I wasn't able to help with any encouraging words until now.

Thoughts and a prayer are with you today. Just look ahead for all the good things in your life that are still to come. Let us know how you're doing when you can.

Greetings to you, Mona,

I just found this and read of this major shock in your life. I am sure it would be tough to cope with, for bot you and
children. Will send up prayers that the Lord will comfort and give you strength to keep your chin up and carry on and to
be there for your kids. They will need your presence now more than ever.

Praying for all of you, including your ex,

Ray karenray08

Thanks everybody for the thoughts and prayers. For a while, my life was a constant roller coaster ride. Every day brought either great joy or incredible stress....somehow I got through it without looking back.

I'm fine...I really am. I feel alive, healthy, and content.......for the first time in many years. I'm moving forward...building bridges.

My favorite inspiration came from an email from Wesfrye. He was and is a great cheerleader. :icon_sunny:

It Takes Time To Heal
by Ted Hibbard

It takes time to heal.

Build a bridge
from now to tomorrow.
Sink the piers
deep into the Earth.
Pour in concrete
day by day,
a little at a time,
and let it set.

It takes time to heal.

It may feel very awkward,
as if you're making empty promises,
as if you're simply spanning empty space.

But someday, somehow, somewhere,
you'll find yourself
upon a brand new shore,
glancing back at the bridge
which you alone have built.

It takes time to heal.

Lisa,

You're a Sweetie for the compliment! Just helping a friend in need, whether she wanted it or not! ::)

Now you've got you a new life facing you and a great bunch of folks to help along the way if you ever need it!

Sorry to hear about that, but glad you are moving on. Good luck in your journey. Best wishs

Been there done that....It's a tough row to hoe....Hang in there gal....prayers on the way...

I'm sorry to learn of this, Lisa. You, and all of your family have my prayers. God bless you and yours.

Linda
