Today at work during brake I put $10 in the coin machine so I could get something from the snack machines. The coin machine gave me 6 presidential dollars, 2 Sacagawea dollars and 8 quarters. I noticed one of the presidential dollars didn't have the lettering on the edge. It's a John Tyler dollar if that matters. My question is. Is this an error coin and is it worth keeping? Or should I spend it at it? Sorry about the picture quality. I go into work when it's dark, work all day and get off when it's dark. I didn't have any good light sources and my camera sucks. I added another presidential dollar in the picture that has the lettering so you can compare them.

Its certainly a good find! The same thing happened to me with a different presidential dollar (Cant remember which one) and ended up selling it for $90! Mine ended up grading MS64 which this is not but DONT SPEND IT. It does have value and it is an error.

What could it be worth?

Your coin is not in great condition, so I might say it is worth around $25.
