Took these pics of a pretty lil bird. I haven't looked but I am guessing it is a goldfinch?

Yep, Goldfinch. There have been a few around here but I haven't got a picture yet.

We had them about three weeks ago. They are actually around all the time but they only put on their bright colors during mating season. The male is bright yellow and the female is a dull or pale yellow.

Wish we had birds like that here...

Plant some wild sun flowers around the yard. They love those.
