Good morning everyone!!! I had been looking at this 102 year old home in the town I live near for a while but since I have been out of town working, I had not taken the chance to contact the owner. I was able to contact the owner yesterday and after receiving permission, I loaded my truck and off I went. After hunting the back yard, and digging alot of trash objects and memorials, I moved to the front yard. Up near the roadway, I got a nickel signal at about 4 inches. I dug the plug and saw a coin. I cleaned it up and was pleasantly surprised that it was a V nickel and from 1892!!! This is the oldest coin I have dug in Texas ever and was happy to get it. I detected another hour and continued to find memorials so I called it a day. I am going back today and hit the back yard again. Thanks for looking. TMAN...
