Prohibition speakeasy token: Jack & Charles

[Scrappy]

Found it and it hit 91 -92 on my detector.

Thought I had a silver half and out popped this.

Supposedly a high end speakeasy for socialites on 52nd St, NYC

my only thought is despite being copper, it was 1-1/2" . A draped bust LC rang up as an 87 so a 91-92 isnt too far off I guess

cool... never seen one before...

Very very cool. Here's one (and only one) just like it, I think, currently on eBay... lots of good background info on the speakeasy in the description. Great find!

I don't see any size reference, but I am going to guess it is pretty big for a token? Maybe quarter sized?
Nice unique find for sure.

Very cool find, tokens are the best in my book. To me they are very interesting and different from all the other metal detecting finds.

This "spinner" token is huge. About 1.5"
