Projectile Point/Arrowhead Hunting

I have been reading a lot about arrowhead hunting and i am quite interested in hunting these as well as detecting.

although i have never tried looking for them as of yet,i was wondering if any of you are interested in this subject or have had any luck finding projectile points here in NY?

Shawn, I sure have. When the farmers don't have crops planted just go and ask to look in their fields. Fields near major rivers & streams are best. The outside bend of the rivers usually were the preferred village site. Search the high spots in the field. They would stay on high(er) ground to avoid flood waters. Just like with MDing, research can add to your success! Good luck

There are arrowheads all over NY......as JOHUNT said, the best time is when farmers plow their fields........perhaps also when they harvest them also.
