Hey all

Posted this find on the Artifact Forum seeking information
Sure was surprised as to what the experts had to say
Diggin some deep nails in the yard and was down at least a foot when this baby popped out
Figured it was old but no clue just how old it really is
5500-3500 BP

Wow, really interesting history right there! Some of the coolest finds are not metal and/or weren't what you were looking for.

Beats the heck out of my one silver rosie this year - congrats on that museum piece - I just couldn't imagine digging history such as that!

Sweet! There is a guy (expert) over here that has his own museum. He has over 20,000 points from all over the world.

by far the oldest thing probably ever posted on the Michigan forum! The thought of the last person holding that thing was thousands of years ago is mind blowing to me. And to think that maybe it was thrown at someone or something and that happened on your property that long ago! One of the things Im looking forward to about heaven is to be able to fill in some of the missing links on our finds, won't that be fun. A huge congratulations on your archaic yard find bro!

Wow, bonus dig there Brent! Congrats! I'm still looking for my first but my daughter found a neat knife point while helping me pick rocks from our garden years ago. They are out there! WTG

You found that in your yard, that's awesome! Definitely a museum piece, very rare from what I read.
