prospecting gold in wv

All the Gold I have found in WV is very small but its here

I am trying to post some pics of wv gold but I am doing something wrong or its not letting me

How small and What counties? I've heard of flour gold in the Ohio river. The usgs says there are no precious metals or gems in the state.
But I own a pan and am will'n to look

Hi I am from Maryland but I am going 2 Beckley WV on the 19th 20th and coming home on the 21st of this month but would like 2 meet up and gold pan or metal detect while I am down there. If you are interested please let me know thanks. Chris

The gold prospecting show on tv was here in WV and they found some gold. You could check out there web site and find out where. The show that goes fe fe fi fi gold gold. I'm not sure of the name. There in Nome Alaska a lot on this show.

Markp.....I think I saw the same show. They were in the Greenbrier around Caldwell. But they did mention it was probably stuff washed down over the years from Maryland, Virginia, Pa. Not native...just passing through.
