Prospecting in the Black Hills

Thanks to John "Nuggetpatch" for saving my trip from a stupid mistake!

My son and I only got a few hours to prospect after all the rain during our trip to South Dakota, but it was a FUN few hours. We saw all the other tourist sites of course. We didn't find a lot of gold, but we did get color. I'm sure if I could spend more time there I could find better hot spots. Of course, if I could get my dredge in there I could have a BLAST!

LOL. Yeah, my son drew that picture a while back. It's him holding the video camera while I detected. It was such a cute pic, I just had to use it in the videos!
