Pulse Star 2 - any real life experiances...?

OK, so I have a few places I need to check for possible buried "goodies" and need a decent machine to do so.

Other than a two-box (which will be cumbersome and not so discreet) I was thinking of the PS-2.

Does anyone have any experience of this machine? I can only find foreign (and very poor) videos on YouTube and very little reviews elsewhere?

I am hoping for a payday after the hunt but am unsure of dropping over $2k before I can be sure it performs?

Any help appreciated!!!

To add -

It will be used on land, very remote with no building ever built there (so no trash), mostly sand.
So any signal should be a good one!

If you're out in a "very remote" area, who cares what the machine looks like. Get a good used TM 808 Whites two box and be done with it. That's assuming you need a detector for big and deep targets. If you're looking for something smaller than a soda can, it's not the machine for the job.

The detector will need to be transported discreetly, hence trying to avoid a 2 box, plus the targets MAY be smaller than a can?


if it was a large cache for sure I would risk it, but don't want to miss a small target.

I've used the Pulse Star II in Panama and found it to be a good machine. I didn't find the silver bars I was looking for but that doesn't mean I won't next time.

Few weeks ago a guy I know that has a pawn shop called me for info on one a guy was gonna sell...
Complete with skid and all.

I use to have a Tm 808...
Good machine... I did not have much luck with it...
AND... it KILLS your arm... each one... as you will constantly be changing hands...
I built a sling thingy ma bob... but still...
Like carrying briefcase with wings.

I think Salvor6 has a Pulse star 2... does he not ?

All you do is disconnect and connect...
3 seconds... from coil to skid... or other coils.

It is a V2 (version 2).

Skid is in my opinion... best overall and setup in the industry... as well as its depth... DISPITE what others claim theirs can achieve.

I am headed out this morn...
On my way back I have to swing by 2 separate shops for I.D.'s for them...
And I may stop in the Pawn shop that has been approached on this...
I am gonna see if I can get the guy with the Pulse's #...
I think the pawn guy wants it... but he wants everything bad arse... but that guy has no time... always at his shop.
Good thing is... even if he has purchased it... when he resells it the price will be good.
He buys low and sells low... which I like.
It will have to sit for 30 days before resell if he has purchased...
IF not... will get sellers # and see what he wants.
Its an old man... would like to meet this guy and see where... what... when... he used it etc.
