Tiny little owl only about 5 inches tall, but they can kill prey two to three times their size. My dad once saw one with a rat. Dad said the rat looked three times bigger than the owl.
I spotted a bird through the window in a tree outside yesterday morning. Thought it looked bigger than a Junco, then figured out what it was. Went outside and managed this one shot, and he flew away. Too bad those twigs were in the way.
