It’s a muddy mess everywhere I went to try to scout today, settled on a site I had previously hunted before because I knew the pull off for parking was paved. Glad I did, although the targets were few, I will take a capped coin and be satisfied any day! This lady is a beauty,
1832 Capped Bust half dime.

I am always hunting in field 2, 5 tone, 4 for recovery, no discrimination and 2 on the iron filter.

Wow! Another epic find! Beautiful circulation cameo. You found the mate to my half dollar. I’m thinking I need to get type set of coins like this. They had good silver back then.
